Threat actors are increasingly targeting cloud identity, email, and SaaS environments, rather than just on-premises systems. Azure AD (now Entra ID) and Microsoft 365 are high-value targets because compromising them often gives access to email, Teams, SharePoint, files, OneDrive, apps, keys, VMs, and identity infrastructure.
